Winter Months

Parents,

As we hear about the rise in COVID cases and the winter months are upon us along with holiday travel, we need to step up our health policies.  We are being encourage by the State governing bodies to take measures to the next level as we enter cold and flu season.  Please work with us on this as we want nothing more than to keep EVERYONE safe.  We appreciate your understanding as we continue to temperature check, sanitize, and clean on a regular basis.  We are following CDC guidelines and if a staff member or child has knowingly been exposed they are required to quarantine for 10-14 days.  We want to remain open and able to serve your family.  Let’s keep everyone healthy and safe.  We are following CDC guidelines and if a staff member or child has knowingly been exposed they are required to quarantine for 10-14 days.  We want to remain open and able to serve your family.  Let’s keep everyone healthy and safe.

Reminder:

All adults and children not enrolled, should continue to wear a mask when entering our building.  We want to continue to protect our staff and children from outside germs.

  • If you send grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.  please remind them to wear a mask or they will need to ring the bell and we will have to deliver the child to them.
  • Staff and children 3yr and older should wear a mask if they have a cough or cold.  This has been on going and it works well for the children upstairs with no problem.
  • Anyone with a fever of 100 or higher will be sent home. Children can return after 24hr fever free without medication.  Anyone with illness cannot attend.

  • Wear a mask for 3-5days if you have traveled outside the State of Georgia.

  • Wear a mask for 3-5days if you have been to a gathering wear masks are not worn.

We will work the children to keep the mask on while inside the building for 3-5 days. The mask can be removed for recess and meals.  This is an honor system and we trust that you will assist us in keeping a safe environment at Piedmont Academy & Early Learning Center.

Thank you again!
