PMO: Parent's Morning Out
Classes for ages 6 months to 23 months and those turning 2 after Sept. 1st, one or two days a week from 9:00am-1:00pm
Babies and Toddlers enjoy a time of socialization, play, and having basic needs met in this half day program.
Variety of classes: 2 Day, 3 Day, 4 Day, 5 Day Hours 9:00am-12:15pm or 9:00am-1:00pm
2 yr olds- Classes teach units using learning centers, crafts stories, and a variety of “hands on” experiences in a semi- structured environment. Fine and Gross motor skills, social and emotional skills, as well as work habits are a big focus as your child becomes independent. Special activities such as worshp, music, nature and other experiences are provided to enhance your child’s learning experience.
3 yr olds – A variety of learning centers are used to encourage a child to explore through a “hands on” approach. Special units are taught with the involvement of dramatic play, music, colors and shapes, numbers, books, crafts, puzzles, and manipulatives. Academics are introduced in the areas of math, writing, pre-reading and social sciences. Worship, special events and guests add other experiences to enhance your child’s learning experience.
PreK-4 yr olds - A preparatory Kindergarten program including introductions to academics and many learning centers. Centers include: art, science/nature, books, blocks, music, dramatic play, puzzles, and manipulatives. Teachers introduce skills needed for kindergarten such as pre-math, pre-reading, handwriting and social sciences in small groups and one-on-one. Parent-Teacher conferences are scheduled to inform you of your child's progress and development of skills for kindergarten (inclusive of social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and academic skills). Special events are scheduled to include parents: Thanksgiving Play, Donuts with Dad, Mother's Brunch and Graduation.
YOUNG 5 's/ KINDERGARTEN
Classes are Monday-Friday 9:00am -1:00pm
This program is for young 5yr (fall birthdays) through age 6 who are ready for Kindergarten. This is a 5 day class that follows the basic outline of Learning Standards set by the State of Georgia. Language arts, handwriting, mathematics, reading, social studies, and science will be taught. The lead teacher will evaluate the chldren through out the year and hold Parent/Teacher conferences in the spring. Hands on experiences that are independent and teacher guided will introduce your child to a new level of learning.
Lunch Bunch: 12:15-1:00pm (daily)
Ballet and Tap Classes by "Teaching Little Children" (Once a week)
Soccer Basics by Happy Feet Soccer (once a week)
